References to Calgary and Dubai describe the practice's bases. References to Canada, the UAE and the USA describe the cross-border context of services. They do not represent admission to every bar, authorisation to practise local law in every jurisdiction, or a particular local office registration. Privacy and AI governance credentials do not confer a licence to practise law in another jurisdiction.

No solicitor-client relationship through the website

Using this website, reading an article, subscribing to updates or sending an enquiry does not by itself establish a solicitor-client relationship. Representation requires an agreed engagement after the appropriate checks. No instruction, deadline or undertaking should be treated as accepted merely because an electronic message was sent or received.

Confidentiality and sensitive information

Please keep an initial enquiry general. Do not send confidential, privileged, health, identification or other sensitive records through the public website. Receipt of an unsolicited message does not by itself establish that privilege attaches to it. The treatment of a communication depends on the circumstances and applicable law; this notice does not diminish any duty that the law imposes.
